Everton fullback Leighton Baines expects a red-hot battle against River Plate in Canada today.

"It's going to be interesting," Baines told evertonTV. "They are going to be very technical, I would imagine, and there are going to be some very good players there.

"A lot of big talent comes from South American sides and the players are gifted on the ball.

"There's probably a few players there who will be looking to impress."
