Everton fullback Leighton Baines was delighted to be part of England's 8-0 thrashing of San Marino.

Baines had a storming game at left-back in place of the rested Chelsea star Ashley Cole.

The Everton defender said: "It was a professional job. We got an early goal and the game was won at half-time. It was a matter of the same again in the second half. We got a sixth through Wayne Rooney's free-kick and it then was a case of staying professional."
