Everton fullback Baines confident being fit for Euros

Everton fullback Leighton Baines expects to make England's Euros squad.

Baines suffered his first injury since October 2010 in last Saturday's FA Cup semi-final defeat against Liverpool and scans revealed he had sustained a grade two hamstring tear.

However, Baines, 27, is hopeful he will be available to figure in the final match of the Barclays Premier League season against Newcastle at Goodison Park on May 13, says the Daily Mail.

Barring any setbacks, Baines will be Ashley Cole's understudy in Poland and Ukraine this summer.
