Everton fullback Leighton Baines admits interest from Bayern Munich was flattering.
But he insists he is happy to stay at Goodison Park.
Baines told the Sunday Mirror: "The link with Bayern Munich was flattering because it was an unusual one, but I am only one-year into a new contract so that's the end of it.
"As a team we have probably underachieved so far this season, but there are signs that things are coming together for us now.
"I don't know if it's a good or bad time to be facing Liverpool with what's been going on at Anfield, but we have shown at times this season that we are capable of matching any team.
"It's a massive game for both clubs because we are both looking to turn our seasons around."
