Everton, Fulham yet to meet Reading asking price for Hunt

Hull City boss Phil Brown won't be competing for Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt.

The Hull Daily Mail says while Brown saying Hunt is the "type of player" he would be interested in, he is not on City's list of priority additions.

The left-sided midfielder is known to be keen on a move back to the Premier League and has been linked with Everton, Fulham, Portsmouth and Sunderland this summer.

But with no-one willing to offer enough to activate a £5m release clause in his contract - Reading will have to drop their asking price if they are to cash in on the wide man.
