Everton fine Rooney for drink-driving conviction

Everton has fined Wayne Rooney two weeks' wages after he was convicted of drink-driving charges.

The 31-year-old was handed a two-year driving ban as well as 100 hours of community service by the Stockport Magistrates Court.

The money that the club will receive from Rooney will be given to charity.
