Everton are fearing they may be without Tim Cahill for the next three matches.
The Toffees midfielder injured a calf in the midweek Europa League win over Sporting Lisbon and scans have revealed he may be out for two weeks, meaning he will miss three of the club most important matches of the season.
Everton face Manchester United this weekend before a return leg in Lisbon and then another league clash with Tottenham the following weekend and Cahill's absence will be a major problem for David Moyes.
Moyes has had to deal with plenty of injuries this term and another one, especially to a player like Cahill, could be disastrous in their attempts to record a top-six finish.
