Everton face stiff competition from Spartak Moscow to sign Rubin Kazan ace Alexander Ryazantsev.
The 23-year old is out of contract at the end of the year and has been linked with a move to Everton but Spartak have made their interest clear.
Ryazantsev made headlines with his brilliant performance against Spanish giants Barcelona in the Champions League last week and it looks likely he may move to a bigger club in January but his agent says no decision will be made until he finished with his current club.
"We shall make a decision after the last match of the season," said Alexey Safonov.
"He wants to concentrate fully on the remaining games. He has a contract with Rubin that ends on December 15 so we can now negotiate with any club in the world, but the fact of the matter is that we will only listen to proposals, without promising anything to anybody.
"I have seen many suggestions, from Russian clubs and from Europe."
