Everton eyeing Sunderland defender Lamine Kone

Everton are eyeing Sunderland defender Lamine Kone.

New Everton boss Sam Allardyce signed Kone at Sunderland two years ago and the centre-half turned their season.

Kone has been out of form since — with a move to Everton collapsing and causing friction last season — and he is now recovering from a knee injury, says The Sun.

Sunderland would let Kone go cheaply to get him off their payroll.

There could be big changes at Goodison Park in January, according to some reports.
