Everton boss Dave Moyes is moving for Sheffield Wednesday defender Richard Wood.
Owls skipper Wood has joined centre-back partner Mark Beevers in being put under review at Goodison.
Wednesday, who value the pair at £7m, rejected an approach from Coventry who priced Wood at £1m.
