Everton are eyeing Leicester City striker Islam Slimani.

The Sunday Express says Everton boss Ronald Koeman is still chasing another striker and hasn't dropped his interest in Arsenal's 30-year-old Olivier Giroud.

The striker has two years left to run on his contract but the arrival of fellow Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette, 26, from Lyon has placed a question mark over his future.

But Everton boss Koeman could switch his attentions towards Leicester's Algerian star Islam Slimani, 29, if Giroud decides to remain in north London and fight for his place.
