Everton are eyeing Fiorentina captain Alessandro Gamberini.

The defender has been linked with a move away from the Serie A club after seven seasons, with the Toffees, Napoli and Bayern Munich all thought to be chasing his signature.

Agent Francesco Romano told Il Corriere Di Napoli: "There are no concrete offers, only rumours.

"Napoli has not asked me anything, while there are requests from abroad; namely from Germany and England.

"Gamberini has another year on his Fiorentina contract and I will meet them next week to understand their intentions.

"Alessandro has always given priority to Fiorentina and so, until we have spoken with the club and the coach, we will not look at other options."
