Everton eyeing Bournemouth striker Joshua King

Everton are eyeing Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

The Sun says Everton spies think the tall Norwegian could make up for the loss of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, which has blighted the Toffees' start to the campaign.

King, 25, is proving himself a Prem striker after starting his career with United before a spell at Blackburn, and hit the opener in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Everton.

The £20 million-rated star was linked with Tottenham last season as competition for Harry Kane.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman wants a versatile forward to add pace to his attack and King has all of those qualities.
