Everton encouraged to bid for Sunderland defender Lamine Kone

Sunderland are willing to listen to offers for Lamine Kone.

The Mirror says Sunderland are willing to sell Kone for £10million.

The Ivory Coast international could reunite with Sam Allardyce at Everton.

Kone was close to joining the Toffees for £19m in August 2016 but Sunderland chiefs blocked the switch.

The 28-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Black Cats this term but is currently sidelined through injury.

Former Sunderland boss Allardyce snapped up Kone two years ago and he proved to be an inspired addition as they beat the drop.
