Everton boss David Moyes won't sell Stephen Pienaar for anything less than £20 million.
Though it is unlikely to match last summer's Joleon Lescott saga, this close season could be marked by Moyes again having to fend off interest in his top talent, in particular Pienaar.
The South African, 28, has a year to run on his contract and Everton hope to conclude negotiations on an extension before the World Cup.
But Moyes maintains he is comfortable with the situation and even if Pienaar is not persuaded to sign, Everton are minded to keep the midfielder and let him leave on a free next summer, unless they receive a ludicrous offer as high as £20 million, says the Telegraph.
