Everton defender Tyias Browning is seeking a new loan move away.

The Liverpool Echo says the 24-year-old defender has returned to the Blues after spending last season with troubled Sunderland.

Browning made 27 appearances for the Black Cats but was not in the squad for the final 10 matches of the season through injury as their relegation was confirmed.

He has travelled to La Manga with the club's under-23s' warm weather training camp but it is expected he will leave on loan again this summer.

Browning signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal in January 2017 and was immediately sent to Preston North End until the end of the campaign.
