Everton defender Tyias Browning has enjoyed playing with Sylvain Distin for the U21s.

The French veteran has featured as he plays his way back from an injury absence.

"He's a good role model," Browning told evertontv.

"He doesn't slacken off and puts all his effort into games which shows that he cares. He's one to look up to.

"He helps me through games, even in the warm-up and whenever we get a break he is telling you what to do.

"He has got a lot of experience and he likes to share it with the team, especially the back four."
