Everton defender Matthew Pennington says he enjoyed his loan spell with Tranmere Rovers last season.
The 19-year-old defender was at Prenton Park twice in 2013/14, making 17 appearances for the League One outfit.
"It was a great experience for me to get into the Football League, play some games and see what it's like at another club," he told evertontv.
"I had only ever played for Everton and it makes you appreciate what we have with the facilities compared to Tranmere. It was really good for me and I enjoyed my time there."
