Everton defender Cuco Martina will join Stoke City on loan for the entire season, per Sky Sports.

The 28-year-old, who can play at right and left back, is surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.

He was signed by Ronald Koeman to cover the long term injury of Seamus Coleman.

But with Coleman back and Lucas Digne rivaling Leighton Baines for the left back slot, there is no place for Martina in the squad.

Martina is the third player who will join Stoke on loan this summer. He is the second from Everton, with Ashley Williams making the same move earlier in the month.
