Everton centre-back Michael Keane has vowed to improve this season.
A big money signing from the Burnley in the summer, the 24-year-old has struggled with consistency this season.
Keane has started 15 of 23 Premier League matches, but a second foot injury to see the season has him sitting on the sidelines.
Despite enduring another setback, the Englishman is confident he can return a better player once he has recovered.
"I still have a lot of learning to do," Keane told evertonfc.com. "I feel like I will become a much better player here. I am being hampered at the minute with the injuries I have had and a few things going on.
"I came back in the team and had a few good games, particularly when we kept the clean sheets against Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion [0-0 draws on 23 and 26 December].
"But I know for a fact I will become a better player and I just need that consistency of playing week in, week out, again. And to perform to the best of my ability week in, week out."
