Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny has been handed the captaincy of the U21s.

Kenny, just 17, says he enjoys the role.

"I love the responsibility," he told evertontv."It's brilliant to be captain of the Under-21s and taking on that role.

"I like to be vocal. Brendan's a top player and we get on well. We talk loads during the game so it's easy to play in the centre of defence with him."
