Everton defender Phil Jagielka is set for a shock Euros call.

The London Evening Standard says if Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry's groin is as bad as feared, England coach Roy has strongly hinted that Everton's Jagielka will be the replacement.

"I am prepared to reconfigure," said Hodgson.

"I am not necessarily looking to replace man-for-man in the midfield area because we have a lot of players in that area."
