Everton defender Jagielka fears for England career

Everton defender Phil Jagielka fears for his England future after a dismal World Cup.

The Daily Star says Jagielka travelled to the tournament as one of Roy Hodgson's first choice centre backs alongside Gary Cahill.

But his reputation took a nosedive and he now fears losing his place in Hodgson's squad for when the Euro 2016 qualification campaign which begins in September.

Rising Everton star John Stones is pushing him hard and being tipped to replace him in the heart of England's defence.
