Everton defender Phil Jagielka says they're now ready to climb the table after victory at Birmingham City.
The Blues collected a first Premier League win at St Andrew's on Saturday with a Roger Johnson own goal and a Tim Cahill header proving decisive.
England defender Jagielka told evertontv: "We had hoped to have got that first win out of the way a few games ago but we didn't so hopefully now we have got our first three points we can kick on.
"The start has been baffling," he added. "We have started slowly before but probably never this slowly. It has been an uncomfortable position to be in, it is October now and we have just got our first win. The lads knew we had to turn the corner sooner or later and hopefully this will be a turning point."
