Everton fullback Tony Hibbert admits Ross Barkley makes him feel old.

Barkley, 17, was just seven years old in short trousers when Hibbert made his debut at West Ham in 2001.

"When you look at it that way I suppose it does make me feel old," says Hibbert, 30, who has played 274 matches for his only club.

"You don't realise how quickly time passes. It only really hits me when we play old versus young in training games and I'm with the old team!"
