Everton defender Johnny Heitinga remains keen to close his career at Ajax.

Heitinga likes the idea of playing for Frank de Boer at Ajax in the future.

"I recently read that he wanted to continue as Ajax coach for ten years," said the defender. "That would be nice, then we'd probably meet in a few years again.

"Because it seems to me still beautiful to close my career in Amsterdam."
