Everton defender Johnny Heitinga is happy for manager David Moyes over his move to Manchester United.

Heitinga insists he has a "good" relationship with the departing Everton boss.

"Moyes is a professional who always pushed Everton to perform at their best and last season we reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup," said Heitinga in De Telegraaf. "My relationship with him is good. Even though I play this season less than last year. In 2012 I was Player of the Year and he always played me.

"Moyes is clear and honest. He has the qualities to succeed at Manchester United, though it is naturally no easy task to follow Sir Alex Ferguson."
