New Everton defender Johnny Heitinga admits the pace of the Premiership has blown him away.
The former Atletico Madrid and Ajax stopper told evertonTV: "It is tough when you see the speed of the game. You must concentrate the full 90 minutes and it is at a high speed."
Heitinga has also been getting used to the work load facing the Blues this season.
"It is tough three games in one week but I am still standing! I am happy and I feel good at the moment," he added.
"The next game I obviously can't play in because I can't play in Europe but I would like to face Stoke at the weekend because I like to see the stadium full of Everton fans. On my last home game it was nice to see the supporters."
