Everton defender Brendan Galloway was thrilled with his debut in their 2-1 win over West Ham United.
Galloway impressed as a deputy for the injured Leighton Baines.
"I've worked hard all season and to get rewarded like this is what dreams are made of," he told evertonfc.com.
"I found out at 1.30pm when the manager named the team. I wasn't expecting it. I worked hard in training this week but I didn't expect to be given the nod, but when I did I was really happy and looking forward to it.
"I thought the team did really well. It was important to get the win and to do it at the end made it more special."
