Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori has been ruled out of action for six to nine months after undergoing knee surgery in Barcelona.
The Argentine suffered a meniscus injury while playing for his country against Bolivia in March.
A statement on the club's website read: "Ramiro Funes Mori has had a problem within his knee and has undergone further surgery which will require prolonged rehabilitation of a minimum of six to nine months."
Funes Mori has made 51 Premier League appearances for the Toffees since joining from River Plate in 2015.
