Everton defender Sylvain Distin is ready for his showdown with Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
The clash will go a long to deciding today's derby.
"He (Torres) is a good striker and you have to focus," Distin told evertontv. "He has a bit of everything. He is very technical, very sharp, he can turn quickly and he does not need 20 chances to score. You can mark him well for 90 minutes but give him five seconds and he can score - you can't switch off for a moment.
"I came to England to play against big strikers. Obviously you don't do well all the time, sometimes big strikers will get the better of you but I like the challenge, and if they get the better of me I come back the next week and do better - I enjoy it."
