Everton defender Sylvain Distin expects a physical test against Stoke City on the weekend.
Wingers Matthew Etherington and Jermaine Pennant are the midgets of the group at 5ft 8ins, yet their ability to provide the ammunition for the big men is sure to keep Distin busy on New Year's Day.
"It is a big physical test for us," the in-form Blues defender told evertontv. "Everyone knows what sort of team Stoke are, we know what to expect and we will be ready for it.
"Stoke were really hard to break down when we played them at home but that is every week in the Premier League now. Every team is difficult now. It has been like that for quite a while but I think even more so this season."
