Everton defender Sylvain believes David Moyes has what it takes to be successful at Manchester United.

Distin believes Moyes has the same hands-on style that made Fergie a legend.

The Frenchman said: "There are aspects of their characters which are similar.

"They have the same thoroughness, the same demands. Moyes is 200 per cent committed to the club.

"He does everything from training sessions to video sessions, whereas in the other clubs I've been at, it's been more the assistant coaches doing that.

"He's there permanently. He puts you under pressure from the first game to the last. Even if there's nothing to play for, you know you're going to have to run."
