Everton defender Sylvain Distin is a big fan of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger .
Distin insists Wenger doesn't need silverware to be regarded as a great.
"If you judge managers on trophies there are about 18 bad ones in the Premier League," Distin told the Daily Mail. "Are you a bad manager because you don't win trophies? I don't think so. Arsenal always qualify for the Champions League, they're a young team and they make a bit of money on players.
"If you want to judge managers on winning trophies, yes, OK, maybe they're not up there with the best. But I don't think that's the way to judge a club. If it is, it means we're a very bad one as well. It's not just about that - we can't all win trophies and you have to accept that.
"We have as much pressure as them to win trophies. We all want to win the cup, it's the one and only chance for some clubs and we all want to be there at the end."
