Everton's Leighton Baines insists he is looking forward to an off-season rest before coming back rejuvenated next season.
The 26-year old was speaking to FATV after he helped England come from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Switzerland and said a bit of time off this summer was just what the doctor ordered.
"The rest is important for everyone, it can take a lot out of you if you're playing regularly," he said.
"So it's important we get rest now.
"I want to come back, hit the ground running, have a good pre-season now and hopefully start the new season well."
