Everton defender Aristote Nsiala is determined to make the most of his new contract.
Nsiala won a new deal this week.
"Pre-season is one of the main elements of the season for a lad my age, because you're given the chance to show what you can do," he told evertonfc.com.
"You can't come back for pre-season behind schedule, you've got to be right up there, do well from the start and stay at that level. It's going to be a tough season, but my target is to come back stronger in the summer and see how it goes from there. I would love to get on the bench a few more times this year."
