Everton could welcome back Coleman, McCarthy for Man City

Roberto Martinez suggests he could be with two key Everton players for the second leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.

The Toffees face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium next Wednesday night having beaten Manuel Pellegrini's side 2-1 in the first leg at Goodison Park earlier in the month.

Right-back Seamus Coleman came off late in the clash with a hamstring injury and has not featured since while midfielder James McCarthy has been sidelined for much of the past two months with a groin problem, playing just once since late November.

According to Martinez, both Coleman and McCarthy will be back in training ahead of the penultimate League Cup meeting with City next week.

"James McCarthy and Seamus Coleman are both progressing really well and I expect those two to be back in the squad after this full week," Martinez told the club's official website.

The pair are unlikely to play against Swansea City this weekend but could quite possibly be involved for the trip to Manchester.
