Everton have confirmed striker Joao Silva has signed for Vitoria de Setubal on-loan for the season.
The striker has moved back to his homeland with the Setúbal-based club and will spend 2011/12 playing in the Portuguese top-flight.
Silva scored four goals in 12 games while on loan with União de Leiria last season and it is hoped he can further benefit from this switch.
The 21-year-old moved to Goodison Park in the summer of 2010 having impressed with hometown club C.D. Aves.
