Everton are confident they've won the race for Bury defender Matthew Foulds.

The Daily Star Sunday says the Toffees have won the race to sign Foulds.

The teenager has only played TWO first team games and signed professional terms in February but is regarded as one of the best prospects outside of the Premier League.

Aston Villa and Tottenham were also keen on the left-footed centre-half, 17, who can also play at full-back.
