Everton coast to Europa League group stage

A 1-1 draw in the Czech republic was enough to see Everton through 5-1 on aggregate against Sigma Olomouc.

Even though the Toffees played with ten men for most of the game after Tony Hibbert fouled Jakub Petr after only seven minutes, the Premiership outfit always looked the more assured.

Steven Pienaar converted Leon Osman cross with a fine finish just before the break and though Pavel Sultes levelled in the second half Everton eased through.
