Everton reserves coach Andy Holden was delighted with summer signing Lukas Jutkiewicz score in this week's 2-1 defeat against Sunderland.

"I thought it was a massive test for our boys and one or two of them stood up to it," he explained.

"I was pleased for Lukas. He put a great shift in and deserved his goal."
