Everton are closing on a deal for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Everton boss Ronald Koeman has stepped up his chase in the transfer market by offering Gabbiadini £3million-a-year to join Goodison Park.
Koeman is keen to bolster his attacking options and eyes Gabbiadini who has struggled to force his way into the Serie A side.
The 24-year-old started just four times in the league last season and Napoli are willing to listen to offers as they close in on a move for Juventus' Simone Zaza.
Gabbiadini, who could cost around £25m, started in Napoli's opening fixture of the season but was hooked off after 53 minutes as the Italian side drew 2-2 with Pescara.
