Everton closing on deal for Bordeaux attacker Malcom

Everton are closing on a deal for Bordeaux attacker Malcom.

The Mirror says Goodison Park boss Marco Silva is stepping up his transfer plans as he intends to play an attacking 4-3-3 next term.

He has been frustrated in his attempts to lure Crystal Palace wideman Wilfried Zaha, who is reluctant to move up north again after a failed spell at Manchester United.

It has seen Silva turn his attentions to Brazilian Malcom, 21, and talks are scheduled this week with Bordeaux chairman Stephane Martin.

The deal is likely to cost Everton £30million with Malcom in line for a five-year deal worth around £80,000 a week.
