Everton have secured a partnership agreement with Canada's Ottawa South United.
The deal between the two clubs sees the launch of a new soccer Academy for the Eastern Ontario outfit.
Everton's Head of International Football Development, Tosh Farrell, told evertonfc.com: "We are delighted to participate in the new OSU Force Academy being developed by OSU and it again reiterates our commitment to enhancing soccer in the province of Ontario as we continue our work with the Ontario Soccer Association and now one of its prominent member clubs in Ottawa.
"We believe this Academy will make a positive contribution to enhancing the standard of soccer in Ottawa and the Eastern Ontario area, helping OSU continue as one of the leading clubs in Canada for player development. The partnership with Everton and OSU will strive to maximise player potential and credit must be given to OSU for taking these giant steps. We can't wait to get started on this program to offer further opportunities for talented players in the Ottawa area."
