Everton won't launch their transfer plans until June 1.

The Liverpool Echo says Everton's transfer activity is unlikely to get underway until Marcel Brands officially joins the club.

The new director of football is leading the Blues' search for a new manager but only arrives next week, June 1.

Brands has made it clear that any decisions on players will be done in consultation with the new man in the Goodison dugout.

And in line with Brands' desire to be hands on with the Academy, it is believed that all transfer business at under-23s level is also on hold until the Dutchman is in place.
