Everton academy coach Kevin Sheedy is happy for Duncan Ferguson over his first team promotion.
Ferguson is leaving the academy to join the first team coaching staff.
Sheedy told evertonfc.com: "Duncan hasn't been with us for the last two games, which is a shame in the sense that the lads produced two really good wins.
"It may have been difficult for the players getting used to not working with him, but they've been great.
"We all wish Duncan the very best of luck."
