Everton chairman Bill Kenwright says manager David Moyes has not yet agreed a deal to become the new boss at Manchester United.
The Toffees boss has been heavily tipped to replace the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford with some suggesting an announcement will be made in the next day or two.
But Kenwright, who has indicated that Moyes may move on in the summer, says nothing has yet been agreed upon.
"I don't know about a deal being done," Kenwright told Sky Sports News.
"David had a meeting scheduled with me and we've just had a good meeting.
"I think, at the end of the day, David's contract is up in six weeks' time and he has a right to make his own decisions.
"He's served this club wonderfully well."
