Everton are interested in Chelsea fullback Ryan Bertrand.

The Telegraph says Bertrand could be offered to Southampton as part of a bid for Luke Shaw, but the 24-year-old is also admired by Liverpool, Everton and Sunderland.

Everton's interest in Bertrand would suggest manager Roberto Martínez is preparing for the possibility of losing Leighton Baines to Manchester United in the window.
