Everton chasing Birmingham keeper Butland

Everton have opened talks with Birmingham City for goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The Daily Mail says Southampton and Everton have both registered an interest in Birmingham City's highly-rated goalkeeper Butland.

Manchester City and Arsenal are also monitoring the situation after Butland completed a successful loan spell with Cheltenham Town.

A staggering 52 representatives from clubs saw Butland in one match with Mark Yates's side.
