Everton are reported to have joined the chase for Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo.
Many believe Caicedo is a raw talent, but his natural ability is undoubted - although Basel fully realise his potential and want around £4million for the player they signed as a 16-year-old.
With Everton joining teams from Italy and Spain in checking on Caicedo, the news of potential interest has filtered back to the player.
However, he insists he is not looking at anything other than helping Basel.
"My mission is to play and help at Basel," Caicedo told reporters.
"I do not want to think about other questions.
"It is normal that I do desire to improve, like any professional in Europe, but for now I am content in Switzerland."
